Our head office is located in the Sanwa region of Nara Prefecture, and we manufacture and sell hand-pulled somen, dried noodles, and tsuyu sauce. We are the oldest company established in the region and value quality and flavor. Our products were even presented to emperors. To adapt traditional handmade somen to modern needs, instant noodles can be prepared by simply adding hot water, matcha, sesame, and ginger. We also put a lot of effort into commercial food. It is used by major airlines for in-flight meals and provides 30 tons of commercially prepared somen noodles annually. We have earned this reputation thanks to our strict quality assurance. Yamamoto rebranded in 2017, and the current company logo and packaging for its flagship product hakuryu were designed by Kashiwa Sato, famous for the Uniqlo logo.
